About the workshop
The Workshop on group dynamics will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, from October 5 to October 9, 2026.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together students, early-career researchers, and specialists working on group actions and related areas, including one-dimensional dynamics, symbolic dynamics, computability aspects of dynamical systems, and geometric group theory.
The program will include lecture courses, research talks, and informal discussion sessions. Further details will be posted on this page.

Registration is open until August 15, 2026. Please complete the registration form below.
Some accommodation support may be available. The organizing committee will inform applicants about the availability of accommodation support shortly after the registration period closes.
Venue
The workshop will be held at IMERL, Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad de la República, Montevideo, Uruguay.
